The concept of this project was to explore different textures and how they can combine together to make one composition in photoshop. The blue texture was made by using paint on paper, the green texture was a photograph of a weaving basket and to create the N, I scanned a design that I composed by hand which I then masked into the letter N.
This assignment was aimed to teach us how to make repeating patterns and give them colors based on a specific audience. We had to first create a design using black and white shapes of paper which we then transposed onto the computer and repeated it on the entire page. This neutral color pallete is intended to appeal to the more elderly audience.
The concept of this project was to create a poster that will inform the audience about your assigned mental disorder, mine being paranoia. In reality, paranoia begins from within oneself, at first controled and small but over time that paranoia grows larger and more uncontrollable. For my poster I decided to represent this with simple circles starting with the "O" in paranoia as the center point and gradually growing larger, less transparent and less rigid.
The concept of this project was to create a product design for humans, alough your idea had to be based on your assigned animal. For this project, I was assigned a dog, so I decided to design an energy drink called Mad Dog. For the logo, I designed two symmetrical bull dogs facing eachother as if they were competing in an intense battle, in an attept to give the audience the feeling of energy and competition.
The purpose of this poster was to give the audience an infographic design on what and when I eat throughout my day. This project was done all in illustrator to create each pictogram and the entire layout of the poster. The abstract person in the center is intended to represent me, with the arms and legs representing the hands on a clock, pointing to each time corresponding to each meal of the day.
The concept of this project was to create a booklet that will convey an issue in the world of your choice and propose a solution to that issue. For this project I decided to choose diseases as my issue and specifically medicinal cannabis as the solution. The purpose of my booklet was not to adress the issue of legalizing marijuana, but rather to inform people who have diseases such as epilepsy, cancer, PTSD and depression about the treatments that medicinal cannabis can offer. The solution to my issue was to create a tour guide that takes these patients and transports them to places where medicinal cannabis is legal, giving them the opportunity to explore the treatment for themselves and decide whether or not it works for them.
